Patchwork Pals Meeting- Friday 5th July 2024

A small group met on Friday but the room was still buzzing with activity!

Juliet was working on a Roman Blind and very exciting patchwork.

Jenny was working on part four of a seasonal set of cross stitch- this season was this merry looking horse!

Marillyn was working on some machine embroidery for Christmas but also showed her lovely crochet cardigan she made for a relative. Very fancy!

Pat was working on her Gilet - she and Michele were very busy cutting out shapes for appliqué using Michele’s Sizzix machine and dies.  She also mentioned that the pattern (see previous post) is available for members to borrow to cut out their own version, should they wish to do so.

Joy was working on the finishing touches on her stunning seahorse- the beading is absolutely fantastic.

Sandy was busy working on her Dresden plate blocks, they look so light and fresh in the blue and white print.

Val was working hard, hand quilting her beautiful baby quilt - the pink and white animals and shapes are so pretty.

Sarah was putting additional stitches into her hand embroidery.

For Germaine, the answer was more gold! The finished Assyrian flower is shown below after the anguish of last time! She was busy putting in the stitches into her smocking panels. All will be revealed in time!

Please do not forget: If you would like to make a gilet along with Pat, please make sure you have either used her pattern or found your own. She is planning to start this in September.
