PATCHWORK PALS

We had a good meet up today - great to see more people back after the Christmas/New Year break.  Everyone “seemed” to be quite productive - even if it was a bit nippy in the hall. Marillyn had made this beautiful hanging decoration - it even lights up!   She’s now busy making this charity quilt using donated fabrics. Joy had made this raw edge appliqué “flowers in a vase” from a pattern in a magazine. And whilst it looks 3D, it does lay flat so she’s going to post it to her friend.  What a lovely gift!   Joy is now working on this Crafter’s Carry-All bag - which apparently (and I quote) “is just a load of squares and rectangles sewn together”!  It’s looks a bit more complicated than that!!   It was great to see Lyn - and she’s been busy knitting up this hoodie - although she assures us it’s not for her!  It’s a beautiful colour - so I’m sure the recipient will love it.
