PATCHWORK PALS

 Lots to going on in the Saturday group! Joy finally finished her gilet - which Pat made her model!  It looks great. Sarah (Jarvis) has been busy with a Jungle Quilt by Elizabeth Hartman.  She’s now going “underwater” with another Elizabeth Hartman pattern incorporating lots of sea creatures.  Looking forward to seeing that one come to life. Ann is putting together her boxes. Gill was doing some beautiful embroidery which will be incorporated into a quilt.   Another Elizabeth Hartman design - this time Sheila is putting together her “doggie” quilt. The “challenge” issued by Pat (Robson) - this is her version. and this is Pat Harvey’s version.  They both look really good - can’t wait to see the finished articles. Carole is putting her musical squares together and playing around with different backgrounds. Julie is making an “impossible box” cushion following a workshop that she did last month. Joy finished quilting a panel which has made a very pretty quilt/...

  Meeting 4th October 2024 A small but busy group met on Friday - lots of catching up and the air was buzzing with activity and sewing machines.   Janet was working on her block of the month quilt top- beautiful colours Janet. Sandy has  made the beautiful blue and white quilt top - Rhapsody in blue. Germaine is still working on the half size farmers smock- showing the embroidered front and sleeves. She is now working on the back.  Juliet was making purses for a charity lucky dip.  Jenny was working on a sea-side sampler, beautiful and neat as always.  Val was working on this beautiful table runner- this will curve, like magic!  Such a busy group! Pat was also busy showing how to insert a zip and giving general encouragement.
