Are you looking for a new hobby or do you already like to spend your spare time crafting? If the answer is yes – then here’s what we’ve been up to. Our members do a wide variety of “needle-based” work – from patchwork (hence the group name) to creative embroidery, dress-making, cross stitch, knitting and crochet and they would be pleased to share their knowledge with you. In 2024, we will also be running some short courses - the first being “ Know Your Sewing Machine ” which will take place in Spring 2024 (date to be confirmed). So, if you have a sewing machine sitting in the corner that hasn’t been used for some time or you got one for Christmas, then come along and see what you can achieve. We have 3 small groups that meet each month. One group meets on the first Friday of the month and, from January 2024, we will be meeting at our new venue, The WI Hall in Guy’s Farm Road .
